Cervical
TeDan Surgical Phantom Series Cervical Blades are used for tissue retraction during neuro and orthopedic surgeries. The blades attach to the retractor during surgery, and are used to retract tissue during the surgical approach to the spine. We offer a variety of blade lengths, widths, and styles to best meet the needs of the individual patient. Phantom CS and TL blades may be used independently or paired with the Phantom Series CS Discectomy blades to create four-way retraction and optimize visualization. TL blades have a cross-cut conical connector, limiting blade rotation and aiding in blade placement and retraction when the surgeon requires an immobile blade connection.
Both the Phantom Series CS and TL blades are also made in a 14mm “micro” width, which are narrower than longitudinal blades and may be used while performing single level procedures or when longitudinal blades are too wide. Aluminum CS and TL blunt blades are color coded and available in a variety of lengths, ranging from 30-75mm to best fit surgeon and patient needs. If the surgeon prefers titanium blades, TSI Cervical Retractor blades are available in titanium in 27, 23 and 22mm widths and multiple lengths. 22mm titanium blades are used for Single Level Anterior Cervical Fusion cases, and the 27 and 33mm widths are used for Multi-Level Cases. Both titanium and aluminum are radiolucent under X-Ray or fluoroscopy. Blades may be purchased in individually, or as part of a set.
