TeDan surgical innovations is proud to offer a variety of muscle blades to meet your surgical needs. Our muscle blades are used to retract muscle and tissue in the lumbar approach to the spine and are available in wide, narrow and micro widths in order to best conform to the patient anatomy and minimize tissue trauma.
Our innovative lighted muscle blades are designed with a light channel to fit TeDan’s light cables and 52 Watt LED Cool Light Source. The lighted muscle blades illuminate the surgical site, optimizing visualization and eliminating the need for surgeon headlamps.
TSI’s lumbar muscle blades are manufactured from aluminum, making them radiolucent under X-Ray or fluoroscopy. All aluminum sets are color coded to correspond with TeDan’s depth gauge.
