Distraction Screws

TeDan surgical distraction screws are used with a surgical distractor during minimally invasive and open procedures to distract disc space, enabling doctors to see and access the disc space. Distraction screws should be used in conjunction with the distraction screw driver or distraction drill guide to accurately seat the distraction screws. The bullet shaped head fits in all distraction screw drivers and will not damage the holding spring. A sharp tip with self-tapping threads allows for easy placement and bone penetration. TSI offers several different Distraction Screw options to best meet patient and surgeon needs. To prevent cross contamination, a prepackaged sterile box of five screws may be ordered in 12mm, 14mm, or 16mm. Individual screws of these same lengths are also available non-sterile. Cervical Sets Orthopedic surgery equipment, orthopedic surgical instrument TeDan surgical offers complete cervical sets to meet your retraction needs. TSI’s sets are available in several different combinations to best address the demands of patients, surgeons and hospitals. All sets include at least two retractors and a variety of blade style and lengths designed to minimize tissue trauma. A color coded depth gauge ensures that appropriate blade length is used. Accompanying retraction tools such as retractor blade handles are included with each of TeDan’s Cervical Retraction sets, and customized case and sterilization tray facilitate easy storage and sterilization. If distraction equipment is also desired, CS-1600 and CS-1602 include all surgical equipment necessary for retraction as well as all of the instruments required for disc distraction.
