Our Pituitary Rongeurs are used to remove vertebral discs in the minimally invasive, extreme lateral approach to the lumbar spine. Pituitary Rongeyrs are available with a straight tip or an angled tip, allowing surgeons to choose the surgical instrument most suitable to the patient’s anatomy. Our Kerrison Rongeurs are bayoneted surgical rongeurs that are used to cut and remove bone and bone spurs in the minimally invasive, extreme lateral approach to the lumbar spine.
