TeDan Surgical, a leader in innovation among medical equipment companies, is proud to offer the best in retraction instrumentation. Whatever your specialty, TSI’s cutting edge-products are designed to meet the diverse demands of the operating room.
We are a company dedicated to finding solutions to meet the ever-evolving needs of surgeons. Our surgical instrumentation includes traditional spinal retractors for open lumbar procedures, as well as a wide variety of innovative retraction options. Our unique product lines include our patented, pivoting retractor pivots the blades up 30° inside the wound , optimizing visualization without enlarging the incision. We also offer a patent-pending quick release connector, ensuring a quick, secure fit of the blades every time.
Our minimally invasive line allows surgeons to access the surgical site through a small incision, which minimizes tissue trauma and expedites patient recovery. Minimally invasive procedures can be performed in the cervical, lumbar, and extreme lateral approach to the spine.
TeDan Surgical Innovations was founded in 2006 with the goal to innovate and address evolving surgical technique in spine surgery. We have successfully launched retractor instrumentation for minimally invasive, posterior, lateral and cardiothoracic retractors and corresponding devices. We consistantly rank among the best medical equipment companies worldwide.
TSI became an ISO Certified company in April 2010 and obtained the CE Mark in February of 2011 and now distributes in all 50 states and on four continents. Our product offering has grown to over 750 instruments, but our quality policy and our commitment to our customers remain the same.
Based in Houston, Texas, TeDan Surgical manufactures durable and effective medical equipment for accessing the spine to hospitals nationwide and around the world. Our experienced product engineer works closely with surgeons to create new products that meet the ever-evolving challenges of the operating room.
