TeDan Surgical Innovations is proud to offer you the finest products for surgical dilation. Our Phantom Series dilators incrementally dilate the surgical site to allow for the insertion of retractor blades or tubes. The 8mm starting dilator is stainless steel and therefore radiopaque and easy to distinguish under fluoroscopy. Subsequent dilators are available in 8mm, 13mm, 18mm, 22mm and 26mm circumferences.
Surgical dilators allow surgeons access to the surgical site through a small incision, minimizing tissue trauma and accelerating patient recovery. TeDan Surgical Innovations offers dilators to be used for minimally invasive access in the extreme lateral and lumbar regions. Lumbar surgical dilators are color coded to easily identify the retractor blades that should be used.
Our new, grooved dilators are specifically designed to fit with our ringed retractor blades. Dilators can be purchased individually or as set of 3 or 4, and are single-use, sterile instruments.
