Minimally Invasive
Minimally Invasive Instruments
Minimally Invasive Instruments from TeDan Surgical Innovation sallow surgeons to access the surgical site through a small incision, minimizing tissue trauma and accelerating patient recovery. Minimally invasive surgery begins with k-wire insertion and dilation using TSI’s surgical dilators. After the site is incrementally dilated, surgeons insert retractor blades or retractor tubes into the surgical site and remove the dilator. Using TeDan’s patented, pivoting retractor, surgeons can pivot blades up be 30° inside the wound site, optimizing visualization without enlarging the incision. Minimally invasive retractors may be used in conjunction with standard retractors to create four-way retraction.
TeDan Surgical offers innovative lighted blades, cables, and LED lightsource specifically designed for minimally invasive procedures. Through a light channel in the retractor blades, a light cable is easily inserted into the blade, illuminating the surgical site and eliminating the need for surgeon headlamps.
A wide variety of minimally invasive options allow surgeons to choose retractors, blades, and lighting that best meet the patient’s needs. Our diverse designs ensure that the individual anatomical demands of the patient are met.
