The Phantom XL Lateral Screw Driver is used to screw the Phantom XL Screws into the vertebral bone to hold the Phantom XL Retractor Blades in place during the procedure. By fixating the canulated blades to the bone with the screws, the surgeon prevents the blades from drifting and maintains a clear visual field of the surgical site.
