TeDan Surgical Innovations is proud to present our cardiothoracic retractor blades for use exclusively with our UltraVision Retractor System. UltraVision Retractor blades are curved blades to conform to the shape of the ribs, and are used during thoracic surgeries. These retractor blades are designed for use with TeDan’s patented pivoting retractor. Once inside the wound, UltraVision Retractor Blades can pivot 30° without enlarging the incision. Curved retractor blades from TeDan Surgical are designed with a light channel, and should be used with TeDan’s light cables and light source. These innovative features increase visualization, while minimizing tissue trauma. All of TSI’s cardio-thoracic curved retractor blades are made of aluminum, and therefore radiolucent under X-Ray or fluoroscopy. Color-coding of the retractor blades allows surgeons to easily identify blade length. Several widths and lengths are available to best fit the individual needs of the patient.
