Building a Successful Anterior Lumbar Approach Practice from the Lens of a Thought-Leading Access Surgeon
This two-day peer-to-peer program was developed to equip surgeons with first-hand experience on the development nuances of an anterior lumbar surgical approach. The session will include a combination of didactic and model-based demonstrations describing the essentials in MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgical) approach techniques to the anterior lumbar column, evidence supporting patient selection and step-by-step guidance to begin or enhance an anterior lumbar surgical approach. The didactic and one-on-one sessions will culminate with multiple case surgical observation to further cement clinician one-on-one discussions.
This program has been designed for vascular or general surgeons with an existing anterior lumbar access practice with an interest for peer-to-peer discussion or those under consideration to start their practice.
